Scope of this Notice

This AI Transparency Notice (“Notice”) applies to AI-assisted editing, generative-media, animation, automated safety systems, and related features provided through FluxEdit (collectively, the “Service”).

This Notice should be read together with our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and Acceptable Use Policy.

How AI is used

FluxEdit uses automated and AI-based systems to generate, transform, edit, or animate media in response to user-selected presets, prompts, instructions, and uploaded content.

Depending on the feature, the Service may use one or more automated models or technical workflows to analyze the input, apply a requested transformation, generate new visual elements, create motion, or produce a final output.

AI may also be used as part of safety and policy-enforcement systems designed to identify or reduce prohibited use.

Synthetic and materially edited media

Outputs created through FluxEdit may be synthetic, AI-generated, or materially manipulated. They may significantly change the appearance, context, clothing, body, pose, setting, movement, or other characteristics of the submitted media.

An output does not establish that the depicted person performed an action, appeared in a setting, wore particular clothing, consented to the depiction, or participated in any real event shown or implied by the output.

You must not present an AI-generated or materially manipulated output as authentic evidence where doing so would be deceptive, harmful, or unlawful.

AI limitations

AI systems are probabilistic and may produce results that are inaccurate, unexpected, inconsistent, visually distorted, offensive, or unsuitable for your intended purpose.

FluxEdit does not guarantee:

• That a generated output will accurately resemble a real person.
• That an output will be unique or free from similarity to other material.
• That generated details are factually correct or historically accurate.
• That every request will produce the same style, quality, or result.
• That automated systems will detect every prohibited or risky request.
• That automated systems will never incorrectly reject permitted content.

You should review outputs before saving, sharing, publishing, or relying on them.

No identity, age, rights, or consent verification

FluxEdit does not provide legal verification of a person's identity, age, ownership of uploaded material, consent status, or the lawfulness of a requested use.

Safety classifiers or other automated checks may identify risk signals, but they are not definitive proof that a person is an adult, that consent exists, or that a user has the necessary legal rights.

You remain responsible for ensuring that you have the rights and consent required for any real person depicted in content you submit and for complying with the Acceptable Use Policy.

Automated safety systems

FluxEdit may use automated filters, classifiers, blocklists, rate limits, and other safeguards to detect or prevent suspected prohibited content, minors, non-consensual use, abuse, fraud, or attempts to bypass policy controls.

These systems may analyze uploaded media, prompts, request metadata, or other information reasonably necessary to evaluate a request.

A safety system may reject, block, restrict, or flag a request. These systems can make mistakes and should not be understood as making a legal determination about you or the content.

Use /help if you believe a permitted request was incorrectly restricted. Use /report to report suspected abuse or prohibited use.

Your responsibility for outputs

You are responsible for reviewing and deciding whether an output is appropriate and lawful to save, use, share, publish, or distribute.

You must consider the rights of people depicted, the context of publication, applicable privacy and likeness rights, platform rules, and laws concerning synthetic or manipulated media.

The availability of a feature or successful generation does not mean FluxEdit has approved your intended downstream use.

Disclosure of AI-generated or manipulated content

Some laws, platforms, or publication contexts may require you to disclose that content is AI-generated, synthetic, or materially manipulated.

You are responsible for making any disclosure required for your use. You must not remove, conceal, or misrepresent a required disclosure for the purpose of deceiving others.

Even where disclosure is not legally required, presenting synthetic media in a misleading context may still violate our Acceptable Use Policy.

Privacy and media processing

AI-assisted editing requires technical processing of the media and instructions you submit. Uploaded media may be transmitted to compute, storage, AI-inference, safety, or related infrastructure as necessary to provide the requested feature.

FluxEdit limits processing and retention as described in the Privacy Policy. Source media and temporary processing copies controlled by FluxEdit are scheduled for deletion within the stated retention window, subject to the limited exceptions described there.

FluxEdit does not create or maintain a biometric-identification database from uploaded media and does not use facial information to identify you across unrelated services.

AI training

FluxEdit does not use uploaded user media to train or fine-tune its own general-purpose AI models.

Uploaded media is processed for the purposes described in the Privacy Policy, including providing the requested feature, related safety checks, delivery, short-term retries, support, and other narrowly necessary operational functions.

FluxEdit does not sell uploaded user media as AI training data.

Third-party AI and infrastructure providers

FluxEdit may rely on third-party providers for compute, AI inference, hosting, storage, messaging, payments, or other technical functions.

Where a third-party provider processes content to deliver a FluxEdit feature, that processing is subject to the applicable service configuration, contractual terms, and the provider's own legal obligations.

Third-party platforms you use to access or receive content may independently retain or process information under their own terms and privacy policies.

AI does not make prohibited use acceptable

The fact that media is AI-generated, fictionalized, edited, or described as fantasy does not make an otherwise prohibited use acceptable.

You must not use FluxEdit for prohibited uses involving minors, non-consensual intimate content, sexualized depictions of prohibited real persons or public figures, harassment, extortion, harmful impersonation, fraud, illegal content, or attempts to bypass safety controls.

Changes to this Notice

We may update this Notice to reflect changes in AI features, safety systems, technical providers, processing practices, applicable law, or identified risks.

The “Effective date” at the top of this page shows when the current version became effective. Where appropriate or required, material changes may be communicated through the Service.
